At Texas Barbell Strength & Performance, we take pride in fostering an inclusive, supportive, and results-driven fitness community. Whether you’re new to exercise, an experienced athlete, looking to lose weight, build muscle, or enhance your strength and endurance, our expert coaches will help you reach your fitness goals efficiently and safely.
Our state-of-the-art, 12,000 sq. ft. gym is equipped with high-quality strength and conditioning equipment, featuring spacious indoor and outdoor workout areas, ample parking, and on-site showers. We also provide a fully stocked fridge with premium recovery drinks and snacks from STX Nutrition, ensuring you stay fueled and hydrated.


We offer a wide range of group fitness classes throughout the day, including specialty classes like Hyrox and Glute Lab. Our gym is accessible 7 days a week, allowing members to train at their convenience. Whether you’re into strength training, functional fitness, weight loss, or athletic conditioning, we have the programs, trainers, and community support to help you achieve real results.

GRiT RACE – May 3rd The First Hyrox Competition In The RGV
To launch our new and BIGGER location we have created a race that everyone has the ability to race and test their fitness. This race has never been done here in the Rio Grande Valley. It challenges the endurance athletes, runners, strength & performance, Crossfit, and many other different fitness programs.
What is Grit Race?
- A teams of 2 race in a you go I go format.
- Only two divisions will be available, “Grit Racer” and a “Open” Division.
- One workout that consist of 800m runs and 6 Workout Stations.
- In between every station athletes will run 800m and complete a workout before continuing to their next run.
- Fastest time will determine your place in your division and win a cash prize.
